About the Book

Animal Dads is a non-fiction children's book based on real animal dads whose parenting skills are above others in the animal kingdom. The book is written in verse and there are fun illustrations of dads who incubate or care for their young.  From seahorses to emperor penguins, readers will learn how these animal dads are number one when raising their offspring. 

All of the illustrations for the book are traditionally hand-painted watercolor paintings. They were created the "old fashioned way" with no drawing apps or photoshop used.

Animal Dads was created with a target audience age of 2-7 year old children but makes a great gift for the upcoming holiday season or for soon-to be-parents, too!
